NYC Sewer Gators

'Swamp People' is a documentary television series on the History Channel that follows a group of people living in the Louisiana Bayou that hunt alligators for a living.  Apparently, the gator hunting season begins on the first Wednesday in September and lasts for 30 days.  The show has gotten record ratings.  The gator sculptures were planted all over NYC as a marketing ploy for the second season of the show.
