Kuwait Charity Run (KCR) is a non-profit group founded by a group of avid runners and dedicated to support local charities and increase community awareness in Kuwait. KCR’s goal is to encourage community members, companies and athletes to raise funds and awareness for charitable causes and to increase overall participation in outdoor sports activities. KCR's half marathon will be held as an annual event. For 2011, KCR has teamed up with Bayt Abdullah to support their worthy cause. The first event will be held on March 19th and will comprise of two runs; a 10 km and 21 km run.
